1. Download all required files to your computer, place it in one folder. Because this guide use flash tool, so you must make sure that USB VCOM driver is completely installed on your computer before continued to the next step.
2. Extract recovery files and flash tool, go to flash tool extracted folder and run flash_tool.exe. If you are using windows 7 or later than please run using administrator privilege for avoid any permission error..
3. On the flash tool, check DA DL All with Checksum option and then click on Scatter-Loading button, point it to MT6582_Android_scatter.txt on the recovery extracted folder. This will automatically load recovery.img to flash tool
   
   
4. When you ready just press Download button or hit F9, warning will show and tell you that not all images correctly loaded, just confirm it with press Yes button
   
   
5. Flash tool will become stand by and ready to receive connection with your device. Turn off your device, because Lenovo S860 use non-removable battery so please make sure it already completely turn off. Flashing Lenovo S860 with CN version Firmware - Today guide is we wanna to learn how to flashing Lenovo S860 with original official CN firmware, this only applied for CN phone only don't use it for Lenovo S860 from europe. Purpose to install CN official is so we can install Vibe UI v1.5 + Gapps + Root or we wanna update to Vibe UI v2.0. Those both need official CN to be install first before we can update. Flashing Lenovo S860 with CN version Firmware

1. Download all required files to your computer, place it on one folder for easy organized it. Make sure USB VCOM driver completely install on your computer if not you will not unable to go to next step.
2. Extract S860_S122_140405, then extracts target_bin and S860_flashtool_20131031. You will only need this 2 folders and ignore the rest.
3. Go to S860_flashtool_20131031 extracted folder and run Flash_Tool.exe if you are using windows 7 please run it with administrator privilege. Checked DA DL All with Checksum option, this is must be checked. No click Scatter-Loading button and point it to target_bin/MT6582_Android_scatter.txt this will automatic load all necessary files to flash tool.
   
   
4. After that, just press Download button or hit F9. Flash tool will begin initialize the ROM file this will take time 1-2 minutes just wait for flash tool become stand by mode.
5. Now turn off your device, since Lenovo S860 use non-removable battery so you must wait until Lenovo S860 is completely turn off, because failing will make you open the case just for disconnect AC wire.
